Course Description

This foundational course teaches students how to draft, edit, and finalize legal documents. Participants will learn the basics of legal writing and explore sources of law that form the basis for legal claims. Assignments include drafting: ● Sources of law ● Client letters ● Complaints ● Petitions ● Answers The course covers the IRAC method (Issue, Rule, Application, Conclusion) and its application to legal documents.
